Boiler audits completed at Knauf plants in five countries
Between 2022 and 2024 REURASIA audited process boilers of 15 to 50 TPH, biomass and coal, at Knauf plants in the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, China and Japan: safety assessments, combustion-performance reviews, a steam optimisation study and O&M training.
REURASIA completed in June 2024 a programme of process-boiler audits for Knauf Gypsum across Asia. Between 2022 and 2024 the team visited plants in the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, China and Japan, with boilers of 15 to 50 TPH firing biomass and coal, and hot-gas generators.
The scope covered boiler safety assessments, combustion-performance reviews, a steam optimisation study in 2022, a sustainability transition plan for the Philippine plant and O&M training for plant staff. Each audit ended in measured quantities and a costed list of what to change, in the order that pays.
