MANILA, Philippines — REURASIA has delivered to the Department of Energy a nationwide assessment of the Philippines' waste-to-energy potential, as consultant to the department. The study occupied the whole of 2022.
The study maps the organic and combustible residues of the country, region by region, and what each stream could produce as heat, power or gas with the technologies that work at Philippine scale. It is a desk assessment built on official statistics and the department's own data, not a plant design.
