The plant
A 12 MWe biomass power plant in Talavera, Nueva Ecija, fired on rice husk from the province’s own mills, with a 50 TPH travelling-grate boiler. It was delivered in 2015 and 2016 by the AREVA Bioenergy team whose engineers founded REURASIA later that year.
Scope
From 2016 to 2020, REURASIA supported GIFT with consulting, operation optimisation and operator training. In 2020 REURASIA delivered a 1 MWe rooftop solar installation for the same client as EPCM.
Why it matters
GIFT is the plant REURASIA’s founders built as AREVA Bioenergy in 2015–2016 and then supported through its first years of operation. It is the origin of the company’s biomass record in the Philippines.
