Containerised anaerobic digester, San Pablo City
Phase 1 of a pipeline financed with atmosfair low-interest debt, targeting fifteen containerised digesters in the Philippines. The first unit is at a private landfill in San Pablo City. Listed in the Gold Standard Impact Registry as a planned project, GS23708.

What we did
Investor, designer and operator of the first unit in a pipeline of containerised digesters.
Scope
REURASIA finances, designs and will operate the plant. Alterna Verde owns and runs the recovery and recycling facility that hosts it. atmosfair provides the low-interest debt and the carbon-finance path under the Gold Standard for the Global Goals.
Where it stands
Fabrication of the digester modules, the technical and pumping containers, the flare and the gas circuit is complete. The units are being prepared for shipment to the site. This is a planned project; results on waste diversion, electricity generation, fertiliser quality and methane control will be published once the plant is commissioned and independently verified.
