Maintenance Supervisor
Job Brief:
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead and oversee the maintenance team responsible for the safe and efficient operation of 18TPH Biomass Boiler. The Maintenance Supervisor will ensure that all mechanical, electrical, and auxiliary equipment are properly maintained, troubleshoot issues as they arise, and implement preventive maintenance strategies. He/she will work closely with plant management to ensure compliance with company standards, safety regulations, and environmental requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the timely delivery and accuracy of the periodic reports to management (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly)
- Lead and supervise the maintenance team in day-to-day activities.
- Plan, assign, and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
- Ensure proper troubleshooting and repair of plant equipment, including pumps, valves, gearboxes, conveyors, and boiler auxiliaries.
- Assign shift schedule and coordinate with operations staff to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
- Implement safety protocols, including PTW, LOTO, and hot work procedures among others.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and reports.
- Mentor, train, and evaluate maintenance team members.
- Assist in procurement and inventory control of spare parts and tools.
- Support commissioning and installation of new equipment.
- Ensure compliance with DOLE OSH standards and DENR environmental regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field (preferred) or equivalent technical background.
- At least 4-5 years of maintenance experience in power plants, biomass, or heavy industries, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and industrial safety practices.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, P&ID, and equipment manuals.
- Proficiency in maintenance planning and reporting.
- Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Physically fit and willing to work in shifts, emergency callouts, and scheduled plant shutdowns.
- Must be available to start immediately and be willing to work in Laguna.
